Speaking of containers…
My friend Ty is one of the people that is trying to teach ritual, and ceremony, and tradition (a container if you will) by offering retreats or personal/group ceremonies like the one I went to in Florida, that he facilitated. While I was there at the retreat, it wasn’t just about expanding our consciousness, it was about learning a healthy way to live. And everything was done with intention, and he explained why they were doing things a certain way. There was a lot of incense, chanting, meditating, yoga, beautiful altars, purging, vegan diet, cold pressed juices, and so on and so forth. I wrote about it here. The only other times I’ve felt so close to the universe, myself & everyone else, and feeling so healthy in my life, was when I took ibogaine with Ty. It is such a beautiful experience. With such good people.
Such important work
But with 5-MeO-DMT, there is no tradition, really. Not that we know of, anyhow. So he’s creating a safe, and beneficial environment his own way, and he does such an amazing job. I trusted him to help me change my life. It worked, and I would again, a million more times, if needed. To get in contact with Tyler, try his website: https://templeofentheogens.com/
Iboga
He’s focusing more on iboga ceremonies though, and the experience is life changing. There definitely is tradition with iboga, and he’s gone and lived with the tribes (in west Africa) that practice these ceremonies, multiple times. I wrote about my first experience with him, in my second ibogaine post (there’s three parts though). Woah, that was weird.
If you have any interest in any of these practices (and I urge everyone to read up about it), I highly recommend getting in touch with Tyler. He’s currently based out of Florida, but when I had my Ibogaine experience, he flew out to San Diego for me, which I’m pretty sure he does for anyone that needs it.
I hope to one day travel to Africa, and Peru with him. Looking forward to the future!
